Krishivan is located at the foot hills of Sagargad Fort near Alibag, Maharashtra. It is at a distance of 100 km from Mumbai and 120 km from Pune. With easy access from Pune and Mumbai, it is an ideal destination for families to enjoy a quick weekend outing. We also provide conference room facility to enable corporates conduct their business meeting, strategy discussions, trainings etc. The corporate activities can be combined with social activities like planting trees, rain water harvesting activities, visit to adivasi village etc.

House Rules

Smoking & consumption of Alcohol is strictly not allowed in the rooms or premises.

Outside food is not allowed in the premises.

We accept Indian rupees only. We do not accept Credit/debit cards

Photo identification card is mandatory to all guests while check in Krishivan.

Extra person is limited to two.

We do not allow pets on our property.

All servants and drivers accompanied will be charged 200/- per night.

Accommodation reserves the right to refuse admission without any refund if the special instructions are not followed.

Reservation:

Only advance reservations are honored.

A booking is confirmed subject to payment in advance.

Accommodation is blocked for maximum of 24 hours.

Cancelation:  

More than 15 days prior to check in - 15% will be deducted from the amount 

15-7 days prior to check in - 20% will be deducted from the amount

7-3 days prior to check in - 30% will be deducted from the amount

3-0 days prior to check in – NO REFUND

Essential to know:

  • Electricity is erratic and we have inverter backups; however it last for 5-6 hours only.
  • In case of no electricity "air conditioning" facility is not available in Krishivan. Inverter backup is 5-6 hours for fans and tubes.
  • There is no TV facility on the Krishivan property.
  • Guests should carry back plastic bags and plastic bottles along with them


Meals Schedule:

Breakfast - 8.30 am to 9.30 am.

 Lunch - 1.15pm to 2.15 pm. Dinner-8.15pm.

Tea  7am to 7 pm only. 
*Lunch dinner or breakfast after or before time schedule will not be served. "Sorry" for the inconvenience. All meals, breakfast, tea will be served in dining area only ( except for senior citizens or a patient's only on request in room)

Essential to carry:

  • Medicines (if any)
  • Good and comfortable walking shoes and footwear to keep your feet happy during all the travelling and walking that you would do.
  • Torch and candles
  • Binoculars (for bird watching)
  • We recommend carry clothes that are climate-friendly & comfortable, 4-5 sets of comfortable clothes (as washing of clothes at Krishivan is not allowed)
  • Camera & chargers/batteries.
  • Guests are requested to get their own towels for Beach use .
  • In case of kids along, inform us 2-3 days before check in, about their milk requirement and other necessary thing to be arranged.

Safety Precaution:

Visitors to Krishivan should know that they are visiting an agricultural farm. It is covered with tall trees, thick vegetation, deep water bodies etc. as an inherent part of the agricultural farm. Though we have taken due care for the safety of our guests, we do not have total control on accidents happening due to fall of trees, fruits etc. Also, some insects and animals are part & parcel of farm. Visitors are expected to take care when they are on the farm.
