Save Farm has started the eco-friendly Agri-Eco Tourism activity in lieu of popularizing and promoting the concept amongst farmer’s community. Surprisingly, it has received an overwhelming response from the tourists as well. They love to participate in the farming activities.

Save Farm is situated in Dahanu, the tribal belt of Thane district. We have seen and studied culture of Varli tribe since last four decades. It’s indeed a rich culture. To express our respect towards Varli culture and to create curiosity amongst tourists, we have named our Agri-Eco Tourism activity by Varli’s symbolic folk dance 'Tarpa’

Our Agri-Eco Tourism activity has caught the imagination of people who need a short break from their day-to-day stressful life. It also aims at exposing city folks, especially children, to the nature and rural life. Creating awareness about environment is yet another purpose behind this activity. Save farm is an ideal place for the students of Rural Development and Social Sciences. Students can visit near-by tribal communities; understand their culture, art and economy.

Safety Precaution:

Visitors to Save Farm should know that they are visiting an agricultural farm. It is covered with tall trees, thick vegetation, deep water bodies etc. as an inherent part of the agricultural farm. Though we have taken due care for the safety of our guests, we do not have total control on accidents happening due to fall of trees, fruits etc. Also, some insects and animals are part & parcel of farm. Visitors are expected to take care when they are on the farm.
